Malayalam hit Mahesh Inte Prathikaram was remade into Telugu as Uma Maheshwara Ugraroopasya with Satyadev reprising Farhad Fazil in the title role. The film was directed by Venkatesh Maha of C/O Kancharapalam fame under the production of Bahubali Makers Arka Media and Paruchuri Praveena. Naresh, Suhas and Jabardasth Ram Prasad played key roles. The film was recently released on Netflix.

Leading Television network ETV has acquired the satellite rights of Uma Maheshwara Ugrarupasya. ETV, which has not been able to grab the satellite rights of crazy films for a long time, has shown a keen interest in owning the satellite rights of this movie. The film will be set to air on ETV soon and excepted to have a good TRP score.
